Alex U. Griffin is an Emmy nominated filmmaker, photographer, and puppeteer based in the Los Angeles area, with services worldwide. Griffin Eye Productions is his production company. 

Alex has worked on a wide range of projects from branded content and digital media to short and feature films. He has created content released through a number of companies, including Universal Music Group, Dreamworks, and YouTube Studios. His films have screened at Cannes, Slamdance, BAM Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, and many more. 
 

​As a photographer, Alex has been behind-the-scenes and event photographer for many productions, theatrical performances, events, and people. His photographs have been seen in multiple publications and galleries, and he has been an official photographer for the National Puppetry Festival for the past four years. 

Alex is also a puppeteer active in the puppet community. He is a performer, producer for Heather Henson's Handmade Puppet Dreams, film columnist for the Puppetry Journal, former President of the Puppeteers of America. He is also curates the Reel Puppetry Film Festival, taking place at the National Puppetry Festival, and the popular 48hr Puppet Film Project.
